Overview
Founded in 1777 by William Bass. Their brand was Bass Pale Ale, once the highest selling beer in the UK and in fact by 1877 it was largest brewery in the world. The Worthington brand was purchased from Bass by the American brewing company Coors in 2002, which following a merger became Molson Coors in 2005. The new production facility is part of a £15million investment by the brewery.
